Session 1 Format: Three Monday Nights
Yes, there are structures in vocal improv, and that’s a good thing. It’s like cooking—when we know the basic recipe, we can improvise to create delicious desserts. Or like navigating—when we have the map, we can explore with confidence. In this class, we’ll sing with a variety of forms designed to be like recipes and maps for vocal improvisation. We’ll explore the freedom that comes from creating within structure and form, and we’ll be cookin and movin’!

Cost: $60 per session (all three Monday nights)
